The 62 Evolution was built in Italy by Azimut with a multi-award winning international design team, exterior styling by Italy's Stefano Righini and interior design by Carlo Galeazzi. The 19.86m/65'2" flybridge boat built from GRP can sleep up to six guests across three cabins. She was available with only one option for inboard engines.
The models in this range were production for over 5 years, so you can be assured that each Azimut 62 was built on a proven platform of success. Production of the first generation Azimut 62 started in 2001 and ran for over 9 years. The second and final generation Azimut 62 Evolution was announced in 2007.
The latest generation can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 30 knots via its twin 1,001hp Caterpillar C18 ACERT E01 HP - U.S. EPA Tier 3 and IMO Tier II engines. The Mk2 matches the performance of its predecessor, with no difference between their cruising speeds.
