The clue is in the name with Carbon Craft, this Rhode Island-based company’s luxurious tenders are made from carbon, known for its light weight and strength, and rarely seen in tenders.
Carbon Craft was founded in 2013 after long-time boaters Ken Pierce and Mark Levey couldn’t find a tender that suited their needs so decided to build their own, drawing on considerable experience from craftsmen who had worked on America’s Cup racers.
Aside from the carbon construction, its tenders feature colorful closed-cell foam collars ringing the exterior of the boat and absorbing shock like a RIB’s tubes, but without impinging on the usable space. Interiors are elegant and characterised by a use of team and marine leather.
