MAN D2862 Range

The MAN D2862 engine is a powerhouse, delivering impressive performance ranging from 1,000mhp to 1,400mhp. With a rated speed of 2,100rpm, the range offers maximum torque between 3,695Nm and 5,200Nm (depending on the model), making it ideal for a wide range of marine applications.

Utilizing a 12-cylinder design in a 90° V configuration, this water-cooled four-stroke diesel engine is equipped with an exhaust turbocharger and intercooler for efficiency and performance. Furthermore, the engine block is constructed from a high-strength casting, with integrated oil and water ducts, and replaceable valves and cylinder liners, for added longevity.

Cooling is achieved through a plate heat exchanger that is seawater-cooled, while Electronic Injection Control (EDC) ensures precise engine management and monitoring. In terms of emissions, the MAN D2862 engine complies with IMO Tier 2 and EPA Tier 2 standards for private use, ensuring environmental compliance.
