Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 31'10" beam and a 7'5" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 450 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The exterior of the Amer Steel 41 Explorer yacht has a distinctive high bow and integrated heavy-duty cranes, each capable of handling 8,000 kg, facilitating the efficient use and retrieval of tenders. A key design feature is the absence of a traditional beach club, which is replaced by an expanded flybridge. This decision allows for increased social space on the aft side exterior decks, ensuring privacy when docked stern-to. The foredeck is versatile, doubling as a helipad or a social area, equipped to handle tenders and jet skis with ease.

Interior Design

The interior design of the Amer Steel 41 Explorer focuses on practicality and family-oriented living. Luiz de Basto has crafted a space that blends functionality with a straightforward aesthetic. Clean lines dominate the design, with an emphasis on textures that enhance the sense of comfort and utility.

The main deck houses a salon and dining area, equipped with sliding glass doors on each side to facilitate seamless access to the outdoors. This design decision ensures that the interior spaces remain connected to the outside environment, promoting an open and airy atmosphere. The salon serves as a central gathering point, offering ample seating for social interaction and relaxation.

The galley is designed to cater to both casual and formal dining needs. It is equipped with modern appliances and ample storage, ensuring that meal preparation and service are efficient and unobtrusive. The layout prioritizes functionality, allowing for easy movement and operation within the space.

The helm station is a focal point of the yacht's interior design, featuring a floor-to-ceiling forward-angled windshield. This design element provides the captain with 270 degrees of visibility, enhancing navigation and safety. The "floating" dashboard is equipped with an advanced electronic package, designed to be both functional and visually striking, reminiscent of a cinematic spaceship.

A glass staircase connects all four decks, ensuring easy access throughout the yacht. This structural feature also enhances the interior's openness, contributing to the overall sense of continuity between different areas of the vessel.

Amer Steel 41 Explorer offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
