The new model is scheduled to make its public debut at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival, where it will be presented as part of Arcadia's broader effort to develop compact yachts that prioritise efficiency and connection to the natural environment.
Eco-Conscious Systems and Smart Propulsion
The A80new has been designed to meet a range of ecological and regulatory demands, including the latest protections for Posidonia oceanica, a vital marine plant found throughout the Mediterranean. By keeping the overall length of the yacht just under 24 metres, Arcadia enables access to cruising grounds that are increasingly restricted for larger vessels, particularly in sensitive areas. This approach reflects a broader move toward low-impact yachting practices.

Complementing its regulatory compliance is a focus on propulsion efficiency. The yacht is fitted with an upgraded solar panel array, reportedly achieving a 98% improvement in efficiency over previous Arcadia installations. Propulsion comes from twin Volvo IPS engines, a consistent choice for the shipyard since 2015. This configuration helps reduce fuel consumption—by up to 27% at 15 knots—while also lowering onboard noise and vibration. Standard electric fin stabilisers further support cruising comfort.
Designing Space Within a Compact Footprint
The A80new introduces Arcadia’s first raised pilothouse format while retaining design traits consistent with the rest of the range. These include a wide-body forward section and extensive glazing.

The master suite onboard the motor yacht is positioned on the main deck—a layout not often seen on yachts under 24 metres.

The remainder of the accommodation includes four guest cabins on the lower deck, as well as a crew area located in the bow. The crew quarters are accessed via the galley and include two double cabins, a day area, and en suite facilities.
Upper Deck Volume and Beach Club Design
The exterior includes a 80-square-metre upper deck, which Arcadia notes is among the most spacious in this category.

It is divided into an aft area for modular furniture, a central lounge sheltered by a hardtop, and a forward section that can serve as either a sunpad or dining space.

On the main deck, large windows and sliding doors support the transition between interior and exterior spaces. At the stern, a beach club setup includes a hydraulic swim platform and fold-down side sections for increased space at water level.
Interior Finishes and Onboard Ambience
The design language across the interiors focuses on subdued colours and the use of natural materials, with an emphasis on creating a calm and neutral atmosphere. Lighting is handled by dimmable LEDs, which can be adjusted throughout the day to suit different conditions or preferences.

With its focus on efficient cruising, flexible layout, and regulatory compliance, the A80new aims to appeal to owners looking for a compact yacht that supports quieter, more environmentally conscious cruising. It marks another development in Arcadia’s continuing effort to integrate low-impact solutions within the semi-custom yacht segment.
