Arcadia Yachts has unveiled exclusive images of the A96-01 which made its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023. Stretching approximately 30m (98ft) in length and boasting an expansive 8m (26ft) beam, the A96 integrates the best features from Arcadia's two product lines.
The design emphasizes vast stern terraces, a highly maneuverable propulsion system, and a top speed of 23-24 knots, reminiscent of the Sherpa range. Simultaneously, it embraces the A line's extensive volumes and luxurious services, setting a new direction for the brand.
From the swim platform to the bow, the interiors flow nicely, offering the owner a choice between the convivial main deck, a more discreet setting on the upper deck, and complete privacy in the bow area. Versatile living areas on the main and upper decks are facilitated by sliding doors that transform these spaces into open-air settings.
The yacht prioritizes high service standards with separate guest and crew flows, a fully equipped pantry, and an optional second day toilet on the upper deck. Accommodations include a full-beam, light-filled owner's cabin on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck. Renowned designer Igor Lobanov favors natural and eco-friendly materials, resulting in sleek curves, soft lines, and furnishings inspired by Art Deco with a pleasing hand feel. The neutral and pale color palette is complemented by dark or metallic accents for contrast.
The A96-01 stands out with its impressive volume and over 400 square meters of livable space. Extensive work went into optimizing weights, enhancing structural comfort, and improving the efficiency of wiring and piping systems, as well as the thermo-acoustic insulation of the engine room.
Powered by four Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines, the yacht offers high maneuverability with joystick control and stability in pitching due to interceptors and a satellite dynamic positioning system. Its shallow draught and compact engine size enable cruising in various waters.
Collaborating with Volvo Penta and Garmin, the A96-01 is also equipped with advanced port maneuvering systems. Volvo supplied the Assisted Docking system for mooring operations, ensuring safety in challenging conditions. Garmin, in partnership with Arcadia, developed the Surround View Camera System, offering a 360-degree vision with real-time information about the vessel's surroundings.
To increase the yacht's environmental credentials, an optional Silent Mode system can be selected, powered in part by solar panels, guaranteeing 8-9 hours of onboard life in silent mode. The air-conditioning in the cabins is quiet, ensuring a uniform temperature. Furthermore, Waveless Stab fins from CMC Marine contribute to optimal comfort both underway and at anchor.
