Key Features

  • Luxurious master cabin with mahogany furniture
  • Jacuzzi and sunbathing areas on deck
  • Sun deck gym with glass walls
  • Sky lounge with piano

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8m beam and a 2.25m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 331 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the seventh yacht built on the 37 Metre Yacht design. She was delivered to her owners in June 2009.

Exterior Design

Aquarium stands out with its sleek navy blue hull and crisp white boot stripe, offset by a matching white superstructure. Its sharp lines, tiered aft decks, and raked wheelhouse windows give it a distinctly aerodynamic silhouette, characteristic of Sunseeker’s design at their former flagship scale. At 37m (121ft) in length with a beam of 8m (26.3ft) and a draught of 2.3m (7ft 5in), this yacht captures the muscular elegance typical of the brand’s larger builds. Naval architecture is by Don Shead, and the hull and superstructure are constructed in composite for strength and efficiency.

The layout features extensive exterior lounging and dining across three decks. A large sunpad on the foredeck is flanked by built-in seating and hidden storage, while the bridge deck aft hosts a generous dining table with relaxed lounging areas either side. On the sundeck, a central hot tub is surrounded by sunpads, with a bar area, cooktop, refrigerator, and U-shaped seating aft - an inviting space for informal entertaining or relaxing at anchor.

At the stern, a large swim platform folds down from the transom, revealing access to the tender garage. This space currently houses three jet skis, but could be repurposed to suit owner preference. A passerelle enables access from dockside, and boarding gates are also positioned amidships.

Aquarium offers a warm interior with a piano-equipped sky lounge, six flexible cabins, and a spacious saloon.

Interior Design

Stepping into the main salon, the atmosphere is rich and dramatic, with dark tones, warm woods, and refined finishes. The space is arranged for both socialising and entertainment, with opposing sofas, freestanding chairs, and a television that rises from a concealed unit. Seating is designed to encourage conversation, not just screen viewing - a thoughtful touch in a space that doubles as both cinema and lounge.

Forward lies the formal dining area, framed by deep-grained millwork and polished cabinetry. A large table is set for elegant dining, with side deck access nearby for discreet crew movement.

The galley is accessed via a corridor leading past a service pantry with wine fridge and ice maker. Inside, the galley is professionally equipped with full-height refrigeration, wall ovens, and an island with cooktops - well-suited for both private chef use and event catering.

Up on the bridge deck, a second social space opens up in the form of a spacious sky lounge. This area is equipped with a massive wall-mounted TV, a circular table, generous soft seating, and a stylish bar, ideal for entertaining or relaxing with a view.

The helm is located forward on the same deck, with twin captain’s chairs and full navigation controls. There are side access doors for ease of movement around the exterior, plus a discreet day head for use by crew or guests.

Accommodation

Aquarium accommodates up to 12 guests across six guest cabins, with optional configuration for 14 using Pullman berths. There is also dedicated space for a full crew complement of eight. The yacht's interior layout has been carefully optimised to balance luxury guest areas with operational practicality.

The owner’s suite is situated forward on the main deck and spans the full beam. It features a king-size bed, generous lounge space, a large walk-in wardrobe, and a set-back television. A few steps down lead to the en-suite bathroom, complete with twin vanities, a bathtub, walk-in shower with rainfall head and bench, and separate toilet and bidet. The black stone finishes and heated towel rails add a refined touch.

Below deck are four additional guest cabins. Two twin cabins are positioned forward, each with en-suites, storage beneath the beds, and Pullman berths - allowing flexibility for families or additional guests. These twins can be converted to doubles via an integrated track system. Aft are two mirrored VIP suites, each angled to maximise space. They include double beds, twin vanities, generous wardrobes, and en-suite bathrooms matching the upper-deck aesthetic.

The sixth cabin sits on the bridge deck and doubles as a VIP or optional captain’s cabin. The bed is positioned against a wide window, offering excellent views. Its en-suite includes a shower, heated towel rail, and single vanity.

Crew quarters are located forward, accessed through a separate stairwell.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M90) 2,735hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Aquarium is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Aquarium features a sleek navy blue hull, sporty foredeck, and semi-displacement hull for high performance.
