Aroha is a 131'5" motor yacht for sale delivered by British shipyard Sunseeker in 2016. Her interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture come from the drawing boards of Sunseeker's in-house design team.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 26'7" beam and a 9'4" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 338 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fourth yacht built on the 131 Yacht design. She was completed at Sunseeker's Shipyard, Poole yard in United Kingdom where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in December 2016.
Accommodation
Aroha offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M93) 12-cylinder 3,140hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Aroha is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 21 knots. With her 7,397 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,500 nautical miles at 21 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Aroha also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
