Delivered in 2016, Aroha is a 40.05m motor yacht for sale built by British shipyard Sunseeker. Her interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture come from the drawing boards of Sunseeker's in-house design team.

Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.09m beam and a 2.85m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 338 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fourth yacht built on the 131 Yacht design. She was completed at Sunseeker's Shipyard, Poole yard in United Kingdom where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in December 2016.
Exterior Design
Aroha features a navy blue hull complemented by a white boot stripe and a white superstructure. The design incorporates angular-curvy windows, giving the yacht a distinctive look. As the fourth hull in its series, Aroha's exterior is both functional and stylish, providing a modern aesthetic appeal.
On the foredeck, there is a private seating area designed for sunbathing. The large sun deck includes a bar and a jacuzzi, providing additional outdoor leisure options. The bridge deck aft is equipped with a substantial dining table and a separate seating area, making it suitable for hosting gatherings.
Aroha is also fitted with a hydraulic swim platform. This feature facilitates the loading of toys and tenders and serves as an access point to the water, especially convenient for families with young children. The yacht is boarded from the starboard aft deck, leading to an informal seating area close to the main salon doors. This area also includes a bar, ideal for serving refreshments.
Interior Design
Aroha's interior design is characterized by a straightforward, sophisticated style. The yacht's interiors are dominated by ceiling-to-floor windows, which flood the spaces with natural light. The main salon features a comfortable seating area, complemented by Fendi influences and Fendi furniture, giving it a high-end finish. Adjacent to this area is the main internal dining space, providing a practical layout for entertaining guests.
The galley, located on the main deck, is spacious and well-equipped to support long voyages. It includes ample cold storage, allowing for extended cruising without frequent provisioning stops. The equipment in the galley is regularly updated to ensure efficiency and reliability.
The skylounge is a versatile space with practical features. On the starboard side, large cinema screens are available, offering an ideal spot for evening relaxation. A unique water feature runs along the port side, adding a touch of elegance. This area includes a secondary bar, perfect for serving cocktails and hosting informal gatherings. The skylounge directly connects to the bridge deck aft, the main exterior dining space on board.
The helm area is designed for functionality, providing the captain with a spacious cabin and adequate workspace. The bridge is situated on the upper deck, ensuring optimal visibility and control.
Accommodation
The yacht Aroha offers a range of accommodations designed to ensure comfort for up to 12 guests across five cabins. Situated on the main deck, the owner suite features expansive ceiling-to-floor windows that fill the space with natural light. The suite includes a full-beam ensuite bathroom and ample storage, with multiple walk-in spaces.
On the lower deck, there are four additional guest cabins. These consist of two VIP double cabins and two twin cabins, each equipped with Pullman bunks, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for guests. The thoughtful design of these cabins ensures a comfortable stay for everyone on board.
Crew accommodations are also well-considered, with five cabins that accommodate up to eight crew members. The captain's cabin, located aft of the bridge, provides a spacious and functional area, while the remaining crew cabins are situated on the lower deck, forward of the crew area.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M93) 12-cylinder 3,140hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Aroha is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 21 knots. With her 28,600 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,500 nautical miles at 21 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Aroha also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
