Arados is a 155' motor yacht delivered by British shipyard Sunseeker in 2014. Sunseeker's in-house team has created the interior and exterior design of the superyacht.

Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 30'8" beam and a 7'5" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 495 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2012. This was the first yacht built in the series. She was delivered to her owners in March 2014.
Exterior Design
Arados features a round bilge semi-displacement hull form designed for efficient performance at speeds up to 28 knots and optimized for long-range cruising at 10 to 12 knots. Large Quantum fin stabilizers are strategically placed near the aft crew cabins on the lower deck, enhancing comfort for guests aboard.
The main deck aft is configured traditionally, with comfortable seating at the rear and a dining area towards the front, offering a degree of privacy. Access to the water is facilitated by a generously sized swim platform, serving as both a sunbathing area and an easy entry point for water activities.
The sundeck is a notable feature, equipped with a spa pool, sunpads, a bar, and a dining space under the radar arch, making it an ideal location for relaxation and entertainment. A transverse aft garage that opens to starboard introduces a beach club aft, enriching the yacht’s array of amenities.
Interior Design
The interior design of Arados adopts a neutral palette. The design incorporates pale, warm colors, complemented by creams and silvers in the furniture, aiming for a welcoming elegance.
On the upper deck, Arados presents an expanded saloon area, enriched with large glass sliding doors and fold-down balconies on both sides. This design choice effectively merges indoor comfort with the outdoor environment, creating a spacious feel. The inclusion of fold-down balconies on the main and upper decks significantly enlarges the available space, enhancing the guest experience.
Accommodation
Arados can host up to 10 guests in a total of five cabins, strategically placed across its decks to maximize space and optimize the onboard experience.
The master suite is located on the main deck. This full-beam master suite includes a forward en suite bathroom, offering expansive views and a wealth of natural light thanks to its large, floor-to-ceiling windows. Notably, the master suite features a permanent balcony to starboard, providing private outdoor space that can be enjoyed even while the yacht is underway.
On the lower deck, Arados offers additional guest accommodations in the form of two double cabins. These cabins are designed with large windows that reach from floor to ceiling, filling the spaces with natural light and offering guests magnificent views of the sea. The remaining guest accommodation comprises two VIP staterooms located forward on the main deck.
The crew areas, including the captain's double cabin located just aft of the wheelhouse, are positioned to allow for service without intruding on guest spaces. Additional crew quarters and technical spaces are located on the lower deck, accommodating up to 10 crew.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M73L) 12-cylinder 2,895hp engines, motor yacht Arados is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. With her 15,850 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Arados also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
