Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.51m beam and a 2.3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 399 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2007. Launched in December 2009 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2010.
Accommodation
Aquasition offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32A) 12-cylinder 1,800hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Aquasition is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 44,005 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
