Design & Construction
Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and superstructure she features a 23'11" beam and a 7'3" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 197 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the sixth yacht built on the Couach 3700 FLY design. Launched in February 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The exterior of Arion has a raked, flared bow that contributes to a streamlined profile, helping her cut through the water efficiently. The yacht is finished in a crisp white, contrasted by a black boot stripe, offering a clean and modern appearance.
Arion is equipped with several outdoor spaces designed for relaxation and entertainment. The spacious aft deck features an al fresco dining area that can accommodate up to 10 guests, making it suitable for casual gatherings. The open sundeck is fitted with a hardtop roof and skylights, providing both shade and natural light. This area is also equipped with sunpads for sunbathing and a bar, which is ideal for enjoying drinks at sunset.
Further enhancing the outdoor experience is the expansive flybridge. It offers comfortable seating and a dining area served by a wet bar, grill, fridge, and ice maker. The flybridge is sheltered by a fixed hardtop, ensuring comfort in various weather conditions. Towards the aft of the flybridge, a sunbathing area features sunpads and teak lounging chairs.
Interior Design
Arion's interior design has a classic yet welcoming atmosphere by designer Ken Freivokh. The yacht features a Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic, using cherry and wenge woods throughout the interior. These warm materials, combined with fine marbles, contribute to a sophisticated environment.
The open-plan main salon is a key feature, offering a bright and airy space thanks to oversized windows. This area includes a large sofa and armchairs in the aft section, creating a comfortable setting for relaxation. Moving forward, the salon seamlessly transitions to a dining area with a formal table accommodating 8 to 10 guests.
Accommodation
Arion offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 VIP cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M90) 2,730hp engines, motor yacht Arion is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots. With her 4,623 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,800 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort.
