Delivered in 2009, Hakuna Matata is a 120'9" motor yacht built by Couach. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Exequiel Cano Lanza, while Danièle Chopard has designed her interiors.

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 23'11" beam and a 6'11" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 195 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the fourth yacht built on the Couach 3700 FLY design.

Accommodation

Hakuna Matata offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M90) 2,732hp engines, motor yacht Hakuna Matata is capable of reaching a top speed of 30 knots, and comfortably cruises at 24 knots. With her 5,812 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,300 nautical miles. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort.
