More DetailsThe 37.07m motor yacht Beaute was delivered to her owners in 2021 by Emirati shipyard Gulf Craft. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Gulf Craft, while Cristiano Gatto Design is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and a carbon fibre superstructure she features a 8.09m beam and a 2m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 290 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Majesty 120 design. Launched in February 2020 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in March 2021.
Exterior Design
Beaute features a high-raked bow and high foredeck sides, giving it a dynamic forward profile. The foredeck is primarily used for operational duties, but there is an elevated guest area with sun pads and U-shaped banquette seating under the shade of the bridge, complete with versatile tables for guest convenience.
The sun deck includes a jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads and outward-leaning glazed guard rails to maximize the view while ensuring safety. Under the radar canopy's shade, a large sofa and bar with counter stools offer relaxation, with sun loungers further aft next to the port side stairway leading to the deck below.
At the water's edge, the transom and bathing platform can be used as a beach club or for tender stowage. On Beaute, the beach club option features a sleek black linear design on white wall panels, a stylish teak table and chairs, and a smart teak deck extending to the spacious bathing platform when the transom door is raised. Twin staircases lead up to the main deck aft.
The side profile of Beaute showcases extensive glazing, ensuring ample light flows into the lower deck accommodation spaces. On the main deck, the lowered bulwarks are replaced with glazing and guard rails, enhancing views from the main salon and dining area. Curvilinear elements of the superstructure create a seamless connection between the main and upper decks, further emphasizing the yacht's dynamic forward design.
Interior Design
Cristiano Gatto designed the sophisticated interiors for the first Majesty 120 yacht, featuring a fresh and light aesthetic with materials such as lacquer, light woods, and marble.
The main salon features a neutral palette of ecru and cream, with royal blue accent armchairs and deep muted blue cushions and throws on the plain sofas. Dark wood tables and highlights contrast against a cream carpet and walls. The space is subtly divided with cabinetry, while the dining area is distinguished by dark wood flooring in a herringbone design. The dark wood dining table complements the chair legs with cream cushions.
The upper salon incorporates warm chocolate accents in the Lady Peacock armchairs, designed by Gatto for Paolo Castelli. The dark-stained oak of the armchair supports is echoed in the corner bar base and occasional tables. The textured ecru carpet and cushions blend brown, bronze, and ocean blue, enhancing the inviting ambiance around the spacious L-shaped sofa.
Accommodation
The Majesty 120 offers flexible accommodation options with either a five or six-cabin layout. Beaute features a five-cabin layout, accommodating up to ten guests. The owner's cabin is on the main deck, accompanied by two VIP cabins, one double cabin, and one twin cabin. Up to seven crew members can be accommodated onboard to ensure full guest service.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M96L) 2,600hp engines, motor yacht Beaute is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots. With her 24,340 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
In addition, a beach club allows for easy access to the water and allows those on board to easily unwind. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
