Set in the glistening Port Hercule, the 2019 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show played host to the exciting announcement of the new 37m Majesty 120 vessel from the Middle Eastern brand
Announced during an exclusive press conference at the famous yachting event, executive chairman of the brand, Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, unveiled the exciting concept is to be the first Majesty model to feature 100% electrically operated services on board.
With the first hull already under construction and scheduled for a 2020 completion, the innovative electronics and engineering will be in full control of every aspect on board, including the balconies and thrust stabilisers.
The only exclusions to the inclusive electric system are the engines and generators themselves.
Designed as a compact edition of the popular 42m Majesty 140 model, the Majesty 120 boasts many of the same assets as its bigger sister. A draft of just two metres means she can access areas other larger yachts can't, making beautiful destinations with shallow shores like the Bahamas accessible and easy to manoeuvre around.
Constructed with GRP and carbon fibre, the hull and superstructure of the Majesty 120 were designed by the talented in house team with Cristiano Gatto collaborating on the interiors.
Gatto's work on the Majesty 140 won the World Yacht Trophy in 2019 for Best Interior Design for Best Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts from 30-50m.
Capable of accommodating up to 11 guests in a collection of five spacious en-suite cabins, the Majesty 120 boasts multiple design elements which make her stand out as an ideal vessel for making the most of the sun and the sea.
Compared to other vessels of her size range, results of the design research efforts have provided an additional 30% exterior entertainment areas for guests to socialise, mingle and relax.
A convertible hybrid beach club that doubles up as tender storage gives owners a flexible space to use as they please, plus a premium Jacuzzi on the sundeck extends experiences with the water further for guests who want to make the most of the onboard atmosphere.
Interiors by Gatto are lit by an abundance of natural light which filters through a wide expanse of windows, including the characteristic strip of windows around the guest accommodation on the lower deck. In addition to the standard layout of guest cabins, the VIP cabin has an option to become an additional lounge area instead.
