Yacht builder Gulf Craft has unveiled plans for a state-of-the-art yacht service and refit facility in Ajman, UAE, aimed at enhancing the company's offerings for regional clients.
Scheduled to commence operations by the end of 2024, the new Gulf Craft Services facility will span 108,000 square feet and boasts convenient waterfront access.
The site will feature four berths for 60-meter superyachts, a robust 600-ton travel lift, a 75-ton lift for smaller yachts, and an 80-meter wet berth dedicated to in-water repairs for larger yachts.
Additionally, the facility will house specialized workshops catering to carpentry, upholstery, painting, fabrication, and mechanical and electrical services. An on-site outlet will provide essential spare parts, further supporting the facility's comprehensive service offerings. Gulf Craft will also offer yacht registration services through a partnership with the Dubai Maritime Authority.
With this new facility, we’re not just addressing the escalating demand for superyacht services; we’re committed to delivering an exceptional experience for our clients and fostering the growth of a premier yachting community in the region."
