The 48.67m motor yacht Carte Blanche was delivered to her owners in 2008 by Christensen. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Christensen, while Carol Williamson & Associates is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement composite hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 8.99m beam and a 2.44m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2006 with the keel laid under the project name 'Desperado'. She was delivered to her owners in December 2008.
Accommodation
Carte Blanche offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M60) 12-cylinder 1,800hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Carte Blanche is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 55,233 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,400 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and an elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible. Carte Blanche also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
