Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.53m beam and a 2.2m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 488 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 1995. She was delivered to her owners in October 1997.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Grandeur features a raked bow that provides a sleek and streamlined appearance. The deck is constructed from durable and aesthetically pleasing teak wood, enhancing both functionality and visual appeal. The hull and superstructure are painted in a clean, crisp white, creating a unified and polished look. Complementing these elements, the boot top is colored in a striking blue, adding a subtle touch of contrast. Below the waterline, the hull is coated in black, ensuring optimal performance and protection.

The sun deck is designed for both crew and guest use. It features flying bridge controls beside central stairs that lead down to the pilothouse. The aft section of the sun deck is designated for tender stowage. The central area serves as a recreational space for guests and includes an eight-person Jacuzzi pool discreetly positioned between the mast supports, individual sunbeds, upholstered seating, a bar, and a barbecue.

Interior Design

The saloon is thoughtfully designed to maximize natural light and minimize noise. Inward curving windows in the aft corners of the saloon enhance light penetration, while the separation of air trunking from the main superstructure reduces engine and fan noise. The room is furnished with brocaded silk settees, Fabrica wool carpeting, and a selection of elegant lamps and artwork.

The dining saloon, located between the foyer and the main saloon, is a formal space designed for an elevated dining experience. It features wide, sliding doors with Georgian-style bevel-edged glass, and paneling and furniture crafted from African cherry by AWD of New Orleans. The room includes a 10-seater table and other elements that contribute to a refined dining environment.

On the bridge deck, the saloon serves as the primary living area. The space is arranged for relaxation, with leather armchairs, a long settee, and a marble-topped bar with imitation leopard skin seats.

The galley is designed for both functionality and guest interaction. It features a granite counter and leather upholstered bar stools, making it a suitable space for casual breakfasts or meal planning discussions with the chef. The layout ensures that the chef's working area remains isolated from guest passageways, maintaining a high standard of meal preparation.

Accommodation

Grandeur accommodates up to 10 guests in a variety of well-appointed cabins. The master suite, located on the forward part of the main deck, offers expansive space with a king-sized bed, a settee, and a dressing table. The suite is illuminated by six large oval portholes. Additionally, it features twin walk-in wardrobes and a spacious bathroom equipped with a spa bath and a large shower enclosure.

Below the main deck, four guest cabins are accessible via a spiral staircase from the main deck entrance lobby. Each cabin is uniquely themed and named Versailles, Beijing, Tokyo, and Milan, presenting a range of decorative styles. The two aft cabins feature transverse beds and spacious bathrooms with Jacuzzi baths and twin basins. The other two cabins comprise a double and a twin with a Pullman berth, each with a shower-only bathroom. All cabins are finished with high-quality American cherry woodwork.

She is also capable of carrying up to nine crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
