Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.7m beam and a 2.03m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 265 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the third yacht built on the Oasis 34M design. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in January 2023.
Exterior Design
The yacht Grateful presents a clean, white hull & superstructure accented by a silver boot stripe and black detailing. The straight bow with a slight rake adds to a very purposeful appearance.
The main deck includes a pool at the aft with drop-down balconies on either side, enhancing the open-air experience. The transformer located at the stern can be adjusted for swimming or boarding, adding versatility to its design. The sundeck stretches the full length of the yacht, providing ample space for relaxation.
Access to the yacht is facilitated by a side-loading tender garage for auxiliary vessels so they can be easily stored and deployed.
Interior Design
The yacht Grateful's main deck features a well-designed saloon that guests enter through large, curved electric opening glass doors. The saloon includes two curvy sofas and leads into the dining area, which accommodates up to ten guests with floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views. The flooring throughout this area is parquet, adding a touch of sophistication to the setting.
Moving forward, the starboard side of the main deck hosts a guest lobby, with stairs leading to both the lower deck guest cabins and the bridge deck. On the port side, adjacent to the dining room, is the service pantry and galley. The galley is crew focused and practical, providing access to the crew quarters and the main deck foyer. A dumbwaiter in the pantry connects to the bridge deck and sundeck.
The sky lounge on the bridge deck is designed with parquet wood flooring. An L-shaped sofa offers comfortable seating, while a drinks refrigerator and wine cellar. A TV is centrally located, opposite a casual dining area or game/worktable with seating.
The helm area on the bridge deck includes a work desk on the starboard side and a large sofa aft of the helm. A door on the port side allows access to the Portuguese bridge, and exterior docking wing stations are situated on both sides of the bridge.
On the sundeck, a dining table for ten is centrally located under the hardtop, with a buffet featuring a BBQ grill and sink to port. The aft area houses a full-service bar, complete with an ice maker, drinks fridge, sink, and three bar stools. Removable sail sunshades provide flexible cover in this area.
Accommodation
The yacht Grateful accommodates up to ten guests across five well-appointed cabins, each equipped with ensuite facilities.
On the main deck, the full beam owner's stateroom features a vanity, parquet flooring and extra-large windows on both port and starboard sides, allowing for abundant natural light and panoramic views. The stateroom is complemented by a luxurious full beam head, including his and her washbasins and a shower.
The lower deck houses four additional guest cabins. Two aft cabins feature full-size berths, each with ensuite heads and showers, two hanging closets, and large TVs. The forward cabins are configured with twin berths and also include ensuite heads with showers. Oversized glass inserts in the hull of all four cabins provide expansive views.
The crew quarters, accessed from the main deck galley, are situated forward of the lower guest cabins. A crew dining area with a TV and laundry facilities supports the crew's needs. The crew area houses up to seven and comprises a twin cabin with an ensuite head and two additional twin cabins with ensuite heads, ensuring ample and practical living space for seven crew members. The Captain’s cabin is conveniently located on the bridge deck, featuring a single berth, a full ensuite head, and a hanging locker for personal storage.
