Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.5m beam and a 1.91m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 269 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2017. This was the twenty-first yacht built on the Grande 35 Metri design. She was delivered to her owners in May 2019.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Heed reflects a straightforward and practical approach. The raked bow contributes to improved navigation and enhances the vessel's aerodynamic profile. The deck, made of durable teak, provides a reliable and stable surface underfoot. Both the hull and the superstructure are painted white, creating a cohesive and clean appearance. The boot top and the area below the waterline are painted black, adding a contrasting element that highlights the yacht's sleek lines.
One of the key features is the spacious flybridge, which provides ample space for lounging, dining, and enjoying panoramic views. Extensive glazing ensures that the interiors receive plenty of natural light, enhancing the overall ambiance.
Interior Design
Heed's interior design focuses on creating a sophisticated and inviting environment. The use of soft neutral tones paired with rich textures provides a refined and comfortable atmosphere throughout the yacht. Extensive glazing ensures that natural light fills the interior spaces, enhancing the overall ambiance.
The main salon is a central gathering area featuring an open layout with ample seating. Soft furnishings and carefully selected materials contribute to a welcoming environment suitable for relaxation or socializing. The dining area, adjacent to the salon, offers a formal setting for meals, with a table that comfortably accommodates all guests.
Additional lounges and salons are available throughout Heed, each designed with comfort and usability in mind. These spaces offer various settings for guests to relax, read, or enjoy entertainment, all while maintaining a consistent aesthetic that aligns with the overall design theme.
Accommodation
Heed offers accommodation for up to 11 guests across five cabins. A notable feature is the full-beam master suite located on the main deck. This suite includes a private study, a walk-in wardrobe, an en-suite bathroom, and a fold-out balcony.
On the lower deck, there are four guest cabins. Each cabin is equipped with en-suite facilities and ample storage space, ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests.
In addition to guest accommodations, Heed supports a crew of seven, housed in four crew cabins. This separation of crew and guest areas ensures efficient service and enhanced privacy for guests.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M93) 2,400hp engines, motor yacht Heed is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 21 knots. With her 18,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 400 nautical miles at 21 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
In addition, Heed features a beach club where those on board can enjoy unwinding close to the water. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht and an inviting spread of sunpads.
