Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 6.1m beam and a 1.83m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 163 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
On approaching Margate, one notices the ample space allocated for inflatables and water toys. The aft deck serves as the primary outdoor gathering area, offering a dining setup conducive to alfresco meals. It features a bar with a fridge and a sink, complemented by a TV mounted on the wall for entertainment.
Protection from the sun is afforded by a bimini top stretching from the yacht's stern, creating a shaded area that enhances the comfort of the aft deck. The cockpit, located at the yacht's stern, is versatile, well-suited for either recreational fishing or as an additional space for relaxation.
Ascending the stairs from the aft deck leads to the flybridge, which reinforces Margate's design philosophy of spaciousness and utility. The suite is equipped with large windows, cloaked by blinds for optional seclusion, and features a king-sized bed as the centerpiece. Storage is abundant, with sizable closets flanking the bed and additional areas for personal items. The en-suite bathroom, updated during the recent refit, exhibits modern fittings and includes a dual sink and a spacious walk-through shower.
Adjacent to the owner's suite is the VIP cabin, notable for its unique design including an elevated queen-sized bed. The cabin includes a desk and a generous amount of built-in storage. An en-suite bathroom and a closet with automatic lighting complete this guest space.
Two additional cabins cater to further guest requirements. One double cabin and one twin cabin are available, both furnished with comfortable bedding, built-in drawers, and closet space. Each of these cabins also includes a private en-suite, ensuring convenience and comfort for all guests on board.
To complement the guest accommodations, Margate houses up to four crew members in two cabins. This allows for a high standard of service and a relaxed experience for guests, with crew quarters designed to ensure privacy and comfort for the team as well.
