  • Capable of 21 knots top speed
  • Sleeps 10 guests, four staterooms
  • Supports various water toys

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 6.1m beam and a 1.83m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 163 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

On approaching Margate, one notices the ample space allocated for inflatables and water toys. The aft deck serves as the primary outdoor gathering area, offering a dining setup conducive to alfresco meals. It features a bar with a fridge and a sink, complemented by a TV mounted on the wall for entertainment.

Protection from the sun is afforded by a bimini top stretching from the yacht's stern, creating a shaded area that enhances the comfort of the aft deck. The cockpit, located at the yacht's stern, is versatile, well-suited for either recreational fishing or as an additional space for relaxation.

Ascending the stairs from the aft deck leads to the flybridge, which reinforces Margate's design philosophy of spaciousness and utility. This upper deck includes storage for Sea-Doo watercraft and a crane for their deployment. A Jacuzzi, grill, and partial hardtop are also present, further extending the range of activities available to guests. The flybridge is furnished with seating, sun pads, and a catering area, making it an ideal space for socializing and enjoying panoramic views.

The raised pilot house, easily accessible from the flybridge, is designed for navigational functionality while also providing a comfortable space for the captain and crew.

Margate emphasizes practical luxury, with a focus on providing guests with a variety of spaces for outdoor enjoyment and relaxation.

Interior Design

The main salon is a well-appointed space, featuring a neutral palette complemented by the warmth of polished wood finishes. Furnishings are strategically arranged to encourage social interaction, with a plush sofa providing comfortable seating. Large windows envelop the room, allowing for an infusion of natural light, which can be modulated by the adjustable blinds to set the desired ambiance.

The salon also hosts a bar area, equipped with a refrigerator, sink, and storage, serving as a convenient point for refreshments. The adjacent formal dining area provides an elegant setting for meals, with a table that welcomes guests to gather for shared dining experiences.

The raised pilot house boasts an efficient layout that ensures operational functionality while still offering comfort for the captain and guests. A seating area and table provide space for planning and discussion, while the helm itself is outfitted with the necessary controls and navigation instruments for piloting the vessel.

Transitioning to the galley, Margate features a spacious country kitchen-style setup. Quality materials, such as what appears to be quartz for the countertops, offer durability and a sleek appearance. The galley is fully equipped with modern appliances, including an oven, cooktop, microwave, and dishwasher, along with ample refrigeration. A casual dining area within the galley invites informal meals or can serve as additional space for food preparation.

Accommodation

Designed to cater to up to eight guests, Margate features four well-appointed cabins, each serving as a private retreat for those on board.

Guests are welcomed into the owner's suite, spanning the full beam of the yacht, ensuring ample space and privacy. The suite is equipped with large windows, cloaked by blinds for optional seclusion, and features a king-sized bed as the centerpiece. Storage is abundant, with sizable closets flanking the bed and additional areas for personal items. The en-suite bathroom, updated during the recent refit, exhibits modern fittings and includes a dual sink and a spacious walk-through shower.

Adjacent to the owner's suite is the VIP cabin, notable for its unique design including an elevated queen-sized bed. The cabin includes a desk and a generous amount of built-in storage. An en-suite bathroom and a closet with automatic lighting complete this guest space.

Two additional cabins cater to further guest requirements. One double cabin and one twin cabin are available, both furnished with comfortable bedding, built-in drawers, and closet space. Each of these cabins also includes a private en-suite, ensuring convenience and comfort for all guests on board.

To complement the guest accommodations, Margate houses up to four crew members in two cabins. This allows for a high standard of service and a relaxed experience for guests, with crew quarters designed to ensure privacy and comfort for the team as well.

Performance & Capabilities

Margate is powered by twin CAT 3412 engines, each producing 1350 horsepower. These engines provide the vessel with a top speed of 21 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots, balancing efficiency and swiftness. For those inclined towards extended voyages, reducing the cruising speed to approximately 13 to 14 knots significantly extends the yacht's range, achieving an impressive 3,000 nautical miles, which speaks to the vessel's capability for long-distance travel.

Attention to detail is evident in the engine room. With full standing headroom, the space is not only easily accessible for maintenance but also organized in a manner that simplifies monitoring and servicing. The layout and features displayed in the engine room underscore a commitment to keep the vessel's mechanical capabilities in prime condition.
