Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.53m beam and a 2.26m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 231 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Cupcake presents a stylish design with a white hull and superstructure featuring a short foredeck that maximizes interior space, and offers ample glazing along its side profile. The sharply raked bow with open gunwale features adds a touch of modernity, while port holes within the hull create visual interest.
Atop the yacht, the radar and communications tower is situated aft, providing a canopy for the sundeck below. Here, guests can indulge in a circular jacuzzi tub surrounded by seating, complemented by a curved bar accommodating four guests. Forward of this shaded area, additional semi-circular seating and tables offer panoramic views from an elevated position. Tender and watercraft stowage, along with a crane, are located at the very aft of the upper deck.
The fixed bathing platform at the stern provides ample space, with deck mooring hardware expertly concealed behind the side coaming. Twin teak step staircases gracefully curve to meet the platform, leading to the aft main deck exterior relaxation area.
The foredeck is primarily focused on operational use, serving as a space for anchoring and personal watercraft storage. A central stairway over the center of the coaming provides crew access to this area.
On the upper deck, the bridge area features angled glazing, offering panoramic views from the navigation seats, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Interior Design
A vast bank of seating, integrated into the curvature of the aft deck, in a captivating deep turquoise, offers a direct connection with the seascape This color scheme transitions smoothly into the interior design, crafted by Yacht Design Associates. Cream, soft greys, and silver tones, along with rich velvet textures and hints of ocean and beau blue, define the palette of the main salon.
Against a textured pale carpet and white walls, the main salon is illuminated by ample glazing. A fabric-lined ceiling, featuring a circular central design with mirrored sections, enhances the room's brightness.
Low-backed black leather wing chairs accommodate ten guests around a glass dining table, separated from the main salon by two intricate turquoise columns. A large ball glass and bead chandelier serves as the centerpiece of the dining area.
A wide spiral staircase links all decks. The cabins showcase a contemporary aesthetic with metal, linen, and highly lacquered cabinetry. In the master suite's bathroom, a feature marine life glazing surrounds the shower, with a black marble bath tucked into a mirrored surround featuring blue sealife glazing. Intricate glasswork murals depict mermaids, coral, and sea plants, continuing the sea life theme throughout the interior.
The upper deck salon and bar feature large U-shaped seating opposite a casino table, complemented by Regal bar stools with metallic accents. Expansive glazing and mirrored ceiling sections reflect natural light, creating a beautifully lit area for guest enjoyment.
