Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.8m beam and a 3.65m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 2,300 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the third yacht built on the Continental 80 design.
Exterior Design
The exterior of the Isa Continental 80 has an architectural design approach, using steel and aluminum to create a balanced structure with streamlined lines. The yacht features squared, rigorous windows that offer panoramic views from all main indoor areas, enhancing the connection between the interior and the surrounding seascape.
A standout feature is the central section terraces, particularly the one on the Upper Deck, which functions like a balcony, allowing increased natural light into the living room. This design choice is mirrored in other areas, such as the Sky-lounge gym and the lounges on both the Upper and Main Decks, where ample lighting is a key consideration.
The stern hosts a rectangular infinity pool that spans the beam of the deck. This pool is notable for its glass wall design, where water flows between two sheets of glass, providing a striking visual element. The layout around the pool includes large sunpads and lounging spaces, effectively extending the Main Deck’s usable area and connecting it to the beach area via a flight of stairs.
A touch-and-go landing area is included on the upper deck, providing direct access to the owner's quarters to ensure privacy.
Interior Design
The interior design of the Isa Continental 80 is crafted by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, focusing on functionality and modern aesthetics.
In the main salon, large, squared windows provide panoramic views, enhancing the open feel of the space. The light-filled lounges on both the Upper and Main Deck are designed to offer comfort and practicality. The Upper Deck features a dedicated lounge area that seamlessly integrates with the rest of the owner's deck, allowing for a cohesive and private living space.
The yacht includes a gym within the Sky-lounge, offering a well-lit area for fitness and relaxation.
Accommodation
The ISA Continental 80 provides accommodation for up twelve guests across seven well-appointed cabins. This setup includes a master suite located on the Upper Deck, which serves as the owner’s private quarters, ensuring ease of access and seclusion.
The master suite is positioned forward on the Upper Deck for an exclusive retreat with ample space and elevated views. Additionally, the yacht supports a professional crew of nineteen, housed in ten dedicated crew cabins.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M63L) 3,004hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Isa Continental 80 is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 219,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,200 nautical miles at 12 knots.
