Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.4m beam and a 2.55m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 479 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2011. This was the first yacht built on the Custom design. Launched in May 2013 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2013.
Exterior Design
The sundeck offers expansive space for relaxation and entertainment. With a large jacuzzi, ample seating, and a convertible ping pong table, it is designed for guests to enjoy the open air with comfort and ease. The presence of adjustable parasols and an extendable awning provides necessary shade, ensuring that the area is enjoyable at all times of the day.
On the bridge deck, an aft alfresco dining area presents a setting for outdoor meals, with furnishings that prioritize guest comfort and space utility. The foredeck adds to the outdoor experience with additional sofas and a generous sunpad area, inviting guests to unwind with panoramic views.
The main deck's integration with the outdoors is achieved through the aft deck's built-in seating areas, providing a welcoming space for guests as they board the yacht. The large windows surrounding the main salon enhance the connection to the sea, flooding the interior with natural light.
Below, the lower deck's beach club area offers immediate access to the water, equipped with modern amenities for aquatic activities. The tender garage, with its efficient launch system, ensures smooth deployment and retrieval of watercraft, adding to the yacht's practical design.
Interior Design
Maverick features a contemporary aesthetic, characterized by dark paneling and modern features throughout the vessel. Large windows are a focal point, ensuring the interior is bathed in natural light and providing guests with uninterrupted views of the surrounding waters.
Materials used within the interior include slate for washbasins and bar surfaces, imparting a sleek and sophisticated look. Dark varnished wood is prominent in the owner's study, the main salon, and the dining area, offering a contrast to the lighter grey paneling and soft furnishings that complete the decor.
Dining areas on Maverick are designed with sociability and comfort in mind. The main deck dining area features a modern wooden table capable of accommodating up to 10 guests in a formal setting.
The wheelhouse is designed to be spacious, allowing for guest observation and interaction with the crew during navigation. Seating is provided for comfort and practicality.
Accommodation
Maverick accommodates up to 10 guests in five well-appointed suites, ensuring a personal and intimate experience on the water.
The owner's suite is situated on the main deck forward. It features contemporary dark paneling and modern amenities, framed by large windows that invite ample natural light and provide expansive views of the surrounding seascape. The suite includes a king-sized bed, bedside tables, a dark wooden vanity unit with a pouffe, and two black leather armchairs for additional comfort. Storage needs are met with a set of drawers, a wardrobe, and a safe for personal effects. The ensuite bathroom is equipped with dual slate washbasins, large mirrors, and two sets each of toilets and bidets, catering to the owner's convenience. Adjacent to the bedroom, the owner's study offers a workspace with a dark wooden varnished desk and a small sofa, supplemented by extra wardrobe space.
Below deck, the VIP cabin echoes the yacht's dedication to luxury with a queen-sized bed, bedside tables, and a desk with drawers and a pouffe. A walk-in closet provides ample storage, while the ensuite bathroom features a shower room, a slate washbasin, and separate toilet and bidet facilities.
Additional guest accommodations include double cabins with double beds, bedside tables, wardrobes, and drawers, each with an ensuite bathroom that mirrors the amenities of the VIP cabin, including a shower room, slate washbasin, toilet, and bidet. The twin cabin offers two single beds and a pullman bed, making it versatile for guests or family. The accompanying ensuite includes the same high-quality features found throughout the guest accommodations.
For the crew, the captain's cabin is located on the bridge deck, and additional crew quarters are found on the lower deck. The crew accommodations ensure that up to seven members can be housed comfortably.
