The 38.6m motor yacht Mazy was delivered to her owners in 2003 by New Zealander shipyard Alloy Yachts. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Ed Dubois, while Donald Starkey is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 1.9m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 298 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2001. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in April 2003.

Accommodation

Mazy offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3412E-DITA) 1,429hp engines, motor yacht Mazy is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 36,334 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,914 nautical miles at 13 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Mazy also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
