Miramar is a 23.77m motor yacht for sale delivered by Holterman Shipyard in 2022. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Bernd Weel Design, while Kitty Van Der Kamp is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a planing aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 6.18m beam and a 1.65m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 52 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the X-treme 78 Sport design. Launched in July 2022 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in September 2022.
Exterior Design
The Xtreme 78 Sport design concept embodies this vision perfectly with its aluminum planing hull and top speed of over 32 knots. It features long continuous glass panels in the hull and superstructure. Her double chine design, with one spray rail located just below the waterline and one above, enhances performance and efficiency.
At the stern, the bathing platform accommodates the yacht's tender while underway and provides easy access to the water's edge via integrated twin stairways on either side of the large sun pad on the main deck aft. A prominent strake extends from the rear swim platform around the side profile to where the extensive glazing panel begins, flowing almost to the near-vertical bow. Curvilinear elements of the hull envelope the glazing, providing a stylish and protective surround. Open gunwales along the main deck create a visual feature, as do the large gunwale openings on the foredeck. The side profile is further enhanced by a small shell door for side access and stylish fairleads.
Interior Design
The Xtreme 78 Sport is designed for entertainment, featuring a spacious salon that feels like a family living room with a large sofa, dining area, herringbone flooring, and smart mixed wood cabinetry. Illuminated wall panels provide a relaxing light, and vertical blinds at the large windows offer privacy when in port. The galley is located aft of the lounge, allowing guests to be entertained while food is prepared for those seated both inside and out. Sliding doors connect the salon to the aft deck seating area. The helm station is on a slightly raised floor at the forward end of the saloon.
The interior combines dark oak with lighter walnut elements, superbly handcrafted by Holterman carpenters. This style maximizes the extraordinary ceiling height of 2.4 meters on the main deck, further accentuated by dividers and translucent light panels on the sides.
Cabins feature a light grey palette with darker grey carpets and mid-wood cabinetry. The illuminated panels seen in the main salon are also present here, casting a warm light throughout. The bathroom of the principal suite features twin raised basins with gold insets against a marble base with gold grain. Black trim elements, such as door frames, furniture, towel rails, and shower surrounds, create a striking visual contrast.

Miramar offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin and 3 double cabins.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Volvo Penta (IPS 1350) 1,000hp engines, motor yacht Miramar is capable of reaching a top speed of 31 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. With her 5,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,150 nautical miles at 20 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
