Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.82m beam and a 3.21m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 411 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Mistress is characterized by its raked bow and clean lines. The hull and superstructure are finished in a classic white, presenting a cohesive and understated look. The boot top is highlighted with gold, adding a touch of distinction and contrast against the white. Below the waterline, the yacht is painted black, ensuring a sleek appearance even when in motion. The decks are crafted from teak, providing both durability and a natural, warm aesthetic.

The sun deck is equipped with seating, sun pads, and a Jacuzzi, providing ample space for relaxation. The boat-deck is fully occupied by various watercraft, including a 1962 Riva, two Novurania RIBs, two jet-skis, and two waverunners, showcasing its extensive recreational capabilities.

A notable feature is the aft-deck, which retains the traditional main outdoor dining area. The dining area is designed to accommodate a full-size table, providing a functional and comfortable space for alfresco dining. The aft-deck also features a semicircular bar that can be accessed from both inside and outside, thanks to a sliding door that creates either two small bars or one large one, depending on its position.

Interior Design

Upon entering the yacht, the starboard side features an atrium-style entrance hall. This area includes a spiral staircase that appears to hang from an internally-lit glass pillar, topped by a mezzanine floor housing an indoor garden. The use of mirrors and strategic lighting enhances the visual impact of the tropical foliage that surrounds the stairwell.

The dining room, located aft of the entrance, has a traditional feel reminiscent of a long-established London club. This space includes a mahogany sideboard, fluted pilasters, and a Georgian-style cornice. Silver and crystal elements within the glazed doors of the sideboard separate the dining area from the main saloon. The main saloon itself continues this theme but incorporates more modern details, with sofas and armchairs arranged around a two-level coffee table.

Sliding glass doors lead to the aft-deck, where a semicircular bar is ingeniously designed to be half inside and half outside. This design allows for the sliding door to create either one large bar or two smaller ones, depending on its position.

Accommodation

Mistress offers well-appointed accommodation for up to 11 guests. The guest quarters are situated forward of the engine room and are accessed via the main stairs from the lobby.

Mistress features a total of five guest cabins. Four of these are double cabins, providing ample space and comfort. One additional single cabin is located conveniently behind the stairs. The cabins are designed with a focus on comfort and functionality, each equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, TV, and VCR units. Three of the double cabins include walk-in wardrobes and spacious bathrooms with tubs.

The owner’s suite begins with a modern study room, characterized by a grey lacquered desk and black detailing. The stateroom itself continues the modern theme, featuring black lacquered furnishings and an oyster-colored carpet. The suite is accentuated with gold art deco uplighters.

She is also capable of carrying up to nine crew. The Captain's cabin is located aft of the bridge. The lower deck forward houses four twin cabins for the crew, each with en suite shower rooms. The crew area also includes a large mess-room equipped with its own mini-galley and a laundry room with washers, dryer, and an ironing machine.
