Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.2m beam and a 1.68m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 172 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Visually, My Girl presents a sleek profile with a limited walkway on the starboard side, a design choice that directly benefits the expansive feel of the main saloon. The cockpit at the stern is notably spacious, offering a sheltered area comfortably equipped for relaxation and social gatherings. This exterior lounging space is further enhanced by an overhead extension that provides ample shade.

The yacht's deck arrangement includes a designated bar area, furnished with practical amenities such as a fridge and an ice maker, facilitating outdoor entertainment. Large windows punctuate the vessel's structure, allowing for abundant natural light and enhancing the open feel of the onboard living spaces.

My Girl's foredeck is accessible via the side decks, featuring sunbathing areas and a comprehensive anchoring setup. The bulwarks are notably high, contributing to the feeling of safety and solidity often associated with larger superyachts.

The flybridge is a key feature of the yacht, offering a secondary helm station complemented by social spaces, a bar, and a hot tub. A hardtop provides shade for comfort, while the aft section of the flybridge accommodates a tender, complete with a crane for ease of deployment.

Emphasizing practicality, the yacht includes side doors for convenient access to marinas and a bathing platform that serves as a launchpad for water activities.

My Girl's exterior is a reflection of thoughtful design that prioritizes spaciousness and efficiency for an enhanced onboard experience.

Interior Design

On entering the main saloon, one is immediately struck by its expansive nature, a direct result of the yacht’s broad beam and the decision to minimize the walkways on the exterior. This choice has allowed for a generous interior living area, where freestanding furniture and swivel armchairs offer flexible seating arrangements for guests. Large windows bathe the space in natural light, augmenting the feeling of openness.

Amid the saloon, the dining area presents as a practical space for guests to congregate and enjoy meals. Situated adjacent to the bar area, which includes an ice maker and storage for glassware, the dining setup is both accessible and conducive to social interaction.

The raised pilot house features a vertical wheel and streamlined electronic controls. Here, the navigator is treated to an elevated position, offering a clear vantage point for operation. The arrangement of navigation equipment is logical and uncluttered, keeping with the professional atmosphere of the space.

The country kitchen stands out as a central gathering point on the yacht, echoing a homestyle environment. The layout promotes ease of movement and usability, with substantial refrigeration, cooking appliances, and ample counter space. The kitchen setting is informal and welcoming, designed to be a focal point for guests to start their day or enjoy casual meals.

Accommodation

My Girl provides a welcoming environment for up to eight guests across four well-appointed suites. The full-beam owner's suite is impressive, boasting ample space for relaxation. This stateroom features a large bed, capacious storage options, and a walk-in wardrobe, offering guests a sense of privacy and homeliness. The en suite bathroom stretches across the beam of the yacht, equipped with a sizable central shower, a toilet, and a full-length countertop with a sink, underscoring the suite's spaciousness.

Adjacent to the owner's suite, guests will find two additional cabins, each designed with comfort in mind. One cabin houses a double bed, while the other offers twin single beds, making the accommodation versatile for a variety of guest configurations. Both cabins benefit from considerable storage and hanging lockers, ensuring personal belongings are easily stowed. En suite facilities in these cabins include separate showers, toilets, and sinks.

Unique to My Girl is a separate forward cabin that can serve as a private retreat, ideal for those who value solitude or for additional guests. This cabin is well-equipped with audio-visual equipment, storage solutions, and a hanging locker. The en suite for this cabin mirrors the amenities found in the other guest accommodations, with a shower, toilet, and sink.

The crew accommodations include a cabin with twin beds and a second cabin featuring a double bed, typically reserved for the captain. Both crew cabins offer en suite facilities, complete with separate showers, ensuring the crew's comfort and readiness to provide top-tier service to guests.

Performance & Capabilities

My Girl is powered by a pair of MTU 12V2000 engines, each producing a formidable 1,480 horsepower. These engines enable the yacht to reach a maximum speed of approximately 22 knots, with a comfortable cruising speed in the region of 18 to 19 knots. My Girl has a maximum range of 2,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.

The engineering space is in keeping with the yacht's practical and performance-focused ethos. The engine room houses the twin MTUs along with two Northern Lights generators, ensuring redundancy and reliability in power generation. The layout of the engine room is designed with serviceability in mind, providing ample headroom and a high-grip, soft-touch floor surface for safe and easy movement around the machinery.
