Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 490 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2004. This was the thirty-first yacht built on the Custom design. Launched in October 2005 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in September 2006.
Exterior Design
Miss Christine's hull is constructed from aluminium, painted in a striking blue, contrasted by a white superstructure, with a flared raked bow. The deck is crafted from teak, providing a classic, warm touch underfoot and offering excellent resistance to the elements. The yacht features a distinctive boot top in red and white, adding a touch of understated style to her overall look.
Miss Christine features three distinct decks for various outdoor activities. The sun deck is equipped with a centrally located six-person Jacuzzi and a surrounding sun pad for relaxation. Additional chaise lounge chairs are available for sunbathing, while the aft section is utilized for tender stowage during transit.
On the bridge deck, a 72-inch teak round table with seating for ten provides an outdoor dining option. Further lounge furniture is available aft for casual gatherings. The bridge deck's skylounge offers a secondary salon experience, complete with an L-shaped sofa and a full bar for entertainment.
Interior Design
The main-deck salon offers a traditional layout, with a lounge area located aft and a formal dining space amidships. Guests can relax on upholstered sofas positioned to port and starboard, while a forward-facing loveseat sits at the centerline. Above, custom oval soffits with mahogany and gold leaf inlay provide a distinct touch to the interior lighting. Custom marble-topped cabinetry lines both port and starboard sides, enhancing the interior's finish.
The galley is designed for functionality and efficiency, featuring custom granite surfaces and Amtico wood flooring. It accommodates multiple chefs with ample space and high-grade appliances such as a Wolfe 5-burner induction stove, Vulcan salamander, Miele convection oven, and Sub-Zero refrigeration units. The layout ensures chefs can prepare and plate meals without crowding.
Moving to the helm, advanced navigation systems are integrated into the design, offering a practical and user-friendly interface for managing the yacht's operations. Equipment includes ARPA Furuno radars, a gyro compass, and a Nobeltek navigation suite for precision and safety at sea.
The bridge deck skylounge provides guests with an additional area for relaxation. Furnished with an L-shaped upholstered sofa, an upholstered coffee table, and a full bar with a marble top, the space is both functional and welcoming. A rectangular game table with four chairs offers a place for leisure activities. Throughout the yacht, the use of custom mahogany joinery and high-end furnishings underscores a commitment to quality and functionality in the design.
Accommodation
Miss Christine offers accommodation designed to comfortably host up to 10 guests. The layout includes a main-deck master suite and four additional staterooms located below deck, each outfitted with en suite facilities.
The master suite is situated forward of the main-deck galley and provides a king-size berth, a workspace with a desk, and a flat-screen TV. Below deck, the VIP stateroom also features a king berth and TV. Among the other guest staterooms, two offer king berths, while the fourth stateroom is fitted with twin berths, catering to varied guest preferences.
Miss Christine is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
