Rule No.1 is a 39.62m motor yacht delivered by American shipyard Westport Yachts in 2010. The yacht's refined interiors have been crafted by Westport Yachts, while her exteriors have been penned by Gregory Marshall.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.98m beam and a 1.9m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 333 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2008. This was the fourth yacht built on the Westport W130 design. Launched in January 2010 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2010.
Accommodation
Rule No.1 offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 VIP cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M90) 12-cylinder 2,735hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Rule No.1 is capable of reaching a top speed of 24 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. With her 36,075 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
