The 40m motor yacht Mahoenui was delivered to her owners in 2015 by British shipyard Princess. Her interior and exterior has been penned in-house by the Princess design team.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.02m beam and a 2.41m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 395 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fifth yacht built on the Princess 40M design. Launched in April 2015 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Princess' South Yard yard in United Kingdom where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Accommodation
Mahoenui offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 2 VIP cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M93L) 3,509hp engines, motor yacht Mahoenui is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 21 knots. With her 29,345 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
In addition, adjoining the water, a beach club lets those on board enjoy the feeling of being close to the sea. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
