Delivered in 2023, Opus is a 34.36m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Benetti. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by RWD, while Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture has designed her interiors.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.7m beam and a 2.03m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 265 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the sixth yacht built on the Oasis 34M design. Launched in July 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.

Exterior Design

With a metallic grey hull and a distinctive "Shark Grey" finish for the superstructure, Opus stands out in any setting. The design, crafted by the UK-based studio RWD, features a straight bow that enhances its modern profile.

The Oasis Deck™ is a central feature of Opus, providing an open connection to the sea with fold-down bulwarks, an infinity pool, and expansive 270-degree views from the stern. This deck design offers a tiered setting that brings guests closer to nature.

On the main deck, an alfresco lounge and dining area offer practical outdoor living spaces. The upper deck extends these living areas with additional lounging space, providing various viewpoints for guests to enjoy their surroundings. The yacht is powered by twin MTU engines, ensuring reliable performance, especially suitable for the Mediterranean summer.

Interior Design

The interior of M/Y Opus has open-plan layout, which offers a versatile and comfortable space for guests. The main saloon, accessible through sweeping circular glass doors, features expansive windows that allow natural light to flood the space. The design incorporates wooden paneling and a neutral color palette, creating a calming atmosphere. Soft, muted tones and carefully selected materials contribute to a sense of timeless elegance.

In the main saloon, guests have the option to relax on plush sofas or dine at a custom-made table with a Calacatta Macchia Vecchia marble top. The interior design prioritizes both functionality and aesthetic appeal, ensuring that the space is both inviting and practical.

The upper deck includes a full-beam sky lounge that opens out to a second exterior dining area. This space is adorned with a custom-made quartzite tabletop and flanked by two sofas and a Minotti coffee table, offering additional lounging opportunities. The sky lounge is designed to be a flexible area for relaxation and entertainment, with a focus on comfort and convenience.

Accommodation

The yacht Opus offers accommodation for up to 10 guests across five staterooms. The owner's suite is located at the bow and features extensive glazing for ample natural light. This full-beam master suite includes a desk positioned to capture horizon views, a sofa for relaxation, and a full-beam ensuite bathroom with twin basins and a large mirror. The lower deck hosts the remaining guest staterooms, which consist of two double and two twin staterooms.

For the crew, Opus provides accommodation for seven members across four cabins. The captain's cabin is situated on the upper deck.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (10V 2000 M86) 1,380hp engines running at 2450rpm, motor yacht Opus is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 25,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,700 nautical miles at 10 knots.
