Delivered in 2009, Platinum is a 49.9m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Benetti. Her naval architecture and interior design comes from the drawing boards of Benetti, while Stefano Natucci is responsible for her exterior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 2.42m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 498 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2004. She was delivered to her owners in February 2009.
Accommodation
Platinum offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 396 TE 94) 2,249hp engines, motor yacht Platinum is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 80,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
