Exterior Design
Reef Chief is equipped with a raked bow, offering improved seaworthiness and a sleek profile. The deck is constructed from durable teak, which provides a practical and hard-wearing surface for various activities. Both the hull and the superstructure are painted in a clean white color, creating a cohesive and uniform appearance. The boot top and below the waterline areas are finished in black, which adds a subtle contrast to the overall design.
The upper deck is designed for both leisure and operational purposes. It includes a spacious area for al fresco dining and social gatherings. The sun deck is equipped with a bar, a barbecue area, a spa pool, and an exercise area, providing versatile options for outdoor activities.
Walkaround side decks enhance accessibility and safety, allowing crew and guests to move around the vessel with ease. The exterior spaces are laid out to maximize usability without compromising on comfort.
Attention is given to storage solutions, ensuring that all equipment and amenities are easily accessible yet discreetly stowed. The overall design approach focuses on functionality and user-friendliness, making Reef Chief a practical choice for extended sea voyages.
Interior Design
The main saloon features a practical layout with standard-format furnishings on a hand-tufted custom wool carpet. The space includes a custom organ bar, enhancing the room's usability for entertainment. The saloon is equipped with a state-of-the-art Crestron entertainment and surround sound system, which integrates seamlessly with the room's design. A painting conceals a 71-inch plasma television, allowing for a clean appearance when the TV is not in use.
The galley is designed with efficiency and accessibility in mind. It includes high-end appliances and ample counter space, suitable for both everyday use and catering during gatherings. The flooring in the galley mirrors the grand foyer sole, incorporating custom marquetry wood with granite inlays, ensuring consistency in design throughout the yacht.
The helm is designed for optimal navigation and control. It features advanced instrumentation and ergonomic seating, providing the captain with a comfortable and efficient workspace. The helm's layout prioritizes functionality, with all controls and displays within easy reach.
The skylounge, located above the main saloon, serves as a versatile space for daytime activities and evening relaxation. It is furnished with lighter fabrics and custom-designed maple flooring. Large windows in the skylounge offer expansive views, and the room includes a bar and lounging areas, making it suitable for social gatherings. The upper foyer, leading to the skylounge, is wider than typical designs, allowing for easy movement and a spacious feel.
Throughout the yacht, the design incorporates a combination of anigre, birds' eye maple, wengé, and absolute black granite with golden oak granite inlays. These materials are used consistently, from the grand foyer to the custom cabinetry and furnishings, creating a cohesive interior environment.
The dining room features exquisitely designed cast glass doors and leads to a starboard-side foyer with a grand spiral staircase accessing the upper and lower decks. The dining area is straightforward, with a focus on functionality and ease of movement.
