Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 5.86m beam and a 3.56m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 75 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

White Rhino's hull is painted in a clean, white colour, providing a crisp and modern look. This is complemented by a black boot top, which adds a touch of contrast and visual interest. The black antifoul colour below the waterline ensures a cohesive appearance while serving its practical purpose.

The aft cockpit is equipped with a driving station that includes twin steering wheels. This setup allows for straightforward deck maneuvering, whether under sail or at rest. The layout provides easy access from the aft cockpit to the main cockpit, ensuring smooth transitions across the deck. The main cockpit is designed for guest comfort and convenience, offering a lounging area that leads directly to the main companionway.

The deck layout emphasizes safety and accessibility, with well-placed handholds throughout. The tender is stored on the foredeck and can be launched using a halyard, an arrangement that is both secure and efficient for long-distance cruising.

White Rhino features a carbon fiber rig, mast, and boom, along with a carbon rigging package. This choice of materials makes the yacht lightweight yet durable, enhancing its performance capabilities. The hydraulic winch package allows for easy line handling with push-button controls, further emphasizing ease of use.

Interior Design

The interior design of White Rhino is characterized by its practical layout and use of high-quality materials. The yacht features hand-rubbed teak varnish throughout, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. The lighting is thoughtfully designed to enhance the open and airy feel of the space.

The main salon is a versatile space, featuring a dining area to port that comfortably seats eight people. Opposite the dining area is an L-shaped settee, providing a comfortable seating arrangement for relaxation or socializing. Adjacent to the settee is a bar area, which is convenient for serving refreshments.

Throughout the interior, practical handholds are strategically placed to ensure safety and ease of movement, especially when the boat is under sail. The companionway steps are designed with safety in mind, featuring secure handholds for stable passage.

Accommodation

White Rhino provides spacious and comfortable accommodations for up to six guests across three well-appointed staterooms. At the forefront of the yacht, the owner's stateroom offers a private retreat featuring an offset double berth to port, a settee to starboard, and a lounging area. The owner's stateroom also includes a luxurious head with a stall shower.

Moving aft from the owner's stateroom, the yacht features a second guest stateroom. This cabin is equipped with a double lower berth and an upper convertible Pullman berth, making it versatile for different guest arrangements. The second stateroom is serviced by a wethead, which doubles as a dayhead and includes a shower.

Further aft, adjacent to the galley, there is a third guest stateroom. This room comes with an en suite head, providing added convenience and privacy for its occupants.

White Rhino also accommodates a dedicated crew with two separate cabins located aft of the final guest stateroom. Each crew cabin includes upper and lower berths and its own head, ensuring that the crew has their own private and comfortable living spaces.
