The 6500 was built in the Netherlands by Heesen with a multi-award winning international design team, exterior styling by Omega Architects from the Netherlands and interior design by the Netherlands' Heesen. The 65m/213'3" superyacht constructed in aluminium can sleep up to twelve guests across six cabins. She was available with only one option for inboard engines.
Development started in 2010 and the first model rolled off the production line in 2013. She won numerous awards, most recently 'Best Yacht Design' at the 2014 Asia Boating Award.
Performance
She can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 21 knots via her twin 4,615hp MTU 16V 4000 M93L engines. In terms of range, the Heesen 6500 has a standard range of 4,000 nautical miles (nm).
