The FD80 is built by Horizon. The 24.56m/80'7" crossover yacht constructed in GRP can sleep up to eight guests across four cabins. Available with only one option for inboard engines.
The models in this range have been in production for almost 5 years, so you can be assured that each FD80 is built on a proven platform of success. The first generation Horizon FD80 was announced in 2018 and production ran for over 3 years. The second and latest generation Horizon FD80 was announced in 2022 and saw its World Debut at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show - FLIBS later that year.
The latest generation can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 15 knots via its twin 1,136hp Caterpillar C18 ACERT E02 HP - U.S. EPA Tier 3 and IMO Tier II engines. In terms of range, the Horizon FD80 has a standard range of 1,900 nautical miles (nm). By comparison, the Mk2 has comparable performance to its predecessor, with no difference between their cruising speeds, and they are the same in terms of cruising time.

Across its two generations, the Horizon FD80 has demonstrated noticeable price trends over the past three years, reflecting shifts in market demand, vessel condition, and features. The first generation models spend the shortest time on the market, on average around 378 days, suggesting they remain appealing to a specific segment of buyers despite their older features, and on average, they end up 8.69% lower than their initial asking price. The second generation models have the longest average time on the market, sitting for about 468 days, suggesting lower demand, nostalgia for previous generations, or unpopular features but they don't tend to need to lower the price in order to sell.
The first FD80 was announced to the press in 2018 and Horizon started development in 2019 and the first model rolled off the production line later the same year. The second generation was launched in 2022 and saw its World Debut at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show - FLIBS later that year.
