Iguana Yachts

The yard was founded by Antoine Brugidou in 2008 who was looking for a solution to his problem of launching a boat in the very tidal region of Normandy in France. He patented the Iguana mobility system and in 2011 the yard launched the world’s first amphibious boat with tracks, the Iguana 24.

Its high-performance boats are equipped with stowable, tank-like, tracks that allow them to emerge from the water onto any terrain from soft sand and wet mud to uneven rocks and pebbled beaches. Iguana’s tenders for sale are very much designed as boats first with the added benefit of a land drive second, their models can stand up to the roughest conditions and hit speeds in excess of 50 knots.
