The Italian Sea Group has announced its largest and most ambitious build yet, the 100m (328ft) 'Project Titanium', which upon completion would become one of the world's biggest yachts.
The superyacht is being built by the Italian Sea Group’s Admiral brand, and will be the largest superyacht delivered by Admiral when she is handed to her Owner in 2025.
Sporting exterior and interior design from Winch Design studio, at the moment much of Project Titanium is shrouded in secrecy. However it has been revealed that particular attention will be paid to eco-sustainability and she will focus an innovative diesel-electric propulsion system, powered by Azipods. More information is expected to be released over the coming months.
Giuseppe Taranto, Admiral Vice-Chairman, is excited about the Project, saying: “TITANIUM represents our concrete step as a world-wide key player in the gigayacht industry as well as a fine example of our production capabilities, being able to offer the most incredible client’s experience. “
Jim Dixon, Director of Yachts & Aviation at Winch Design, added: “ Project TITANIUM is incredibly dynamic and will be a landmark for the industry. We look forward to working closely with all those involved and can’t wait to see her develop!”
Admiral is part of the Italian Sea Group, which also consists of the Tecnomar and NCA Refit brands. The Italian Sea Group’s yard within the port of Marina di Carrara is the largest private dry dock in the Mediterranean and the only one capable of accommodating yachts up to 100m (328ft) in length.
Admiral itself has launched 147 yachts since 1966 and Project Titanium will usurp 73.2m (240ft) 'Planet Nine' as its largest build when it is delivered. Planet Nine is famous for being the yacht that featured in the acclaimed blockbuster film Tenet in 2020. The Italian Sea Group and Admiral are also currently working on the eco-friendly ‘Blue Marlin’, a 77m (252.5ft) superyacht due for delivery in 2023.
