Boot Dusseldorf 2023: The Best New Boats

Europe's biggest indoor boat show returns with a thrilling line-up of World and European debuts. The perfect event to kick start the new year.

Boot Dusseldorf is scheduled to run from 21-29 January 2023 and will feature an eclectic range of yachts and accessories to suit all nautical niches. Here, we focus on the best new models planned to debut at the show.

The yachting world's new year marker, Boot is once again scheduled to host an extensive collection of world and European debuts, giving many shipyards the perfect platform to introduce the latest and most innovative products and yachts around.

Before we head to Germany, the YachtBuyer team has selected some of the must-see debuts we expect to make their mark at the forthcoming show.

Pearl 72

Following a highly successful debut at the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October, the Pearl 72 now meets a new audience for her European debut.

A fast and fabulously spacious yacht following on from the British builder's entry-level Pearl 62, the Pearl 72 has a host of features to make her a real asset to the fleet of Pearl yachts for sale

One of the main headlines is found inside with a two stateroom, four-cabin layout that Pearl claim delivers the equivalent of two, independently accessed, owners cabins.

Hitting a maximum speed of 30 knots, the Pearl 72 is a credible model to host social gatherings, with multiple interior and exterior lounge and dining areas, all with ample space for mingling and seamless movement around the yacht.

Ferretti Yachts 580

Showcasing an open flybridge and a generous expanse of glazing, the Ferretti Yachts 580 is a super-smart flybridge yacht that offers a maximum speed of 30 knots.

Like its big sister, the 670, there is an innovative three-cabin layout that includes an impressive owner's cabin that works in a private entranceway, study and ensuite.

The Ferretti Yachts 580 could become a pivotal addition to the fleet of Ferretti yachts for sale, with 50 units currently under construction.

Sporting a big flybridge deck and foredeck lounge plus a galley aft salon design, the 580 looks to deliver all the style and features of a much larger alternative.

Bavaria SR33

A flexible and versatile sports cruiser ideal for first-time owners, the Bavaria SR33 has a family feel about it with a seamless flow throughout the interiors and a captivating transom lounge design.

The main salon has an open-plan layout with a galley and lounge/dinette all in a cozy setup, plus a double berth situated forward. One cabin is also located onboard with another double berth, allowing the yacht to accommodate up to four guests at a time.

Exteriors can accommodate a relaxing day of sunbathing or advantageous viewpoints during cruises with aft-view seating conveniently located close to the galley and a swim platform that can double as a sun pad.

Azimut S7

Azimut always delivers at Boot Düsseldorf and this year's display will include the Azimut S7 Mk2, a revamped model with plenty of new features. Powered by triple IPS1050 engines, it can reach maximum speeds of 35 knots with exterior design by well-known collaborator Alberto Mancini.

The S7 is a sports bridge design, however, the S7 finds room for a new upper deck large enough to make a few flybridge boats anxious. A seamless transition from interior to exterior areas is evident onboard, allowing all guests to make the best of both worlds with very little effort. And overnight accommodation makes a lasting impression thanks to the indulgent master cabin with a massive hull window for abundant natural light.

Sunseeker Superhawk 55

A highly anticipated debut that sees the long overdue return of the Superhawk, Sunseeker brings an outstanding performance yacht to Boot Dusseldorf, powered by a Volvo Penta IPS950 (725hp) engine for a top speed of 38 knots.

Dominated by a seamless single-level main deck with walkaround access to the foredeck, the Sunseeker Superhawk 55 sets out to impress with seating that slides on rails into alternative configurations and two generous cabins, a master and VIP, situated on the lower deck.

Also featuring a tender garage and spacious sun pads on the bow, the sporty Superhawk 55 is ideal for weekend escapes or short bouts around tropical archipelagos.

Princess S72

A world debut for the British shipyard Princess, as the mid-range Princess S72 Mk2, is being introduced to the European audience.

Designed in collaboration between the in-house Princess Design Studio, Olesinksi Design and Pininfarina, the S72 is a versatile sportsbridge design that includes both a flybridge and a sunroof.

Powered by twin MAN V12 1,650hp, or 1,800hp, engines for a top speed of around 34-36 knots, the latest addition to the Princess S Class can be owner or crew operated and has a convenient layout with an aft galley to serve guests relaxing in either the interiors or exterior social areas.

Invictus TT420

A striking and aesthetically pleasing sports yacht appealing to owners desiring a modern take on a classic, the Invictus TT420 easily announces its presence in any marina with a captivating elongated sweep of carbon fiber forming a hardtop.

The iconic axe bow follows the design trait of the co-existing Invictus fleet, and as the pleasing exterior suggests, the deck layout and interiors create an effortless floating haven with a wet bar, grill, open plan accommodation and of course phenomenal views around the main deck.

Launched in 2021, the mid-range Sealine Sports range model demands to be seen wherever she goes, showcasing a bold exterior and innovative solutions that allow for a versatile living space, opening or closing the cockpit in moments.

Offering yacht owners a fun and sporty alternative to the Sealine C390, the deck is more accommodating for the guests onboard, with intuitive deck seating that utilizes the space available.

Boasting a lower lounge with two cabins for up to five overnight guests, the Sealine S390 can reach top speeds of 34 knots.

Linssen 55 SL

A contemporary yacht drawing inspiration from Linssen’s steel cruiser flagship, the Linssen 55 SL makes its world debut at Boot, showcasing design collaborations with KesselsGranger Designworks.

Boasting a three-cabin layout, the 55 SL has everything needed for a self-contained voyage that can last an afternoon or a few days. Constructed with engines, generator, shorepower and solar panels that switch seamlessly with minimal effort, there's assurance that the boat always has the required amount of energy to run the domestic supply.

Powered by twin Mercury 2-litre diesel engines, with 150hp each, this model has a flexible approach to satisfying the needs of individual owners, thanks to the convertible Variotop that transforms the environment of the upper deck with ease.

Absolute 56 Fly Mk2

Making its anticipated return to the fleet of Absolute yachts for sale, the 56 Fly returns six years after the Mk1 was discontinued.

Now with updated features, the Absolute 56 Fly has large windows that open for exceptional views, ventilation and abundant natural lighting throughout, with modular furniture on the aft deck and flybridge for optimal relaxation and enjoyment of the great outdoors.

Overnight accommodation is generous with a forward owner's cabin on a mid-level deck, plus a full beam VIP and a twin cabin amidships.

Princess Y85 Mk2

Launching in 2022, Princess introduces the European market to the updated Princess Y85 Mk2, the current second largest model in the Princess Y Class range.

Powered by twin MAN V12 1,900hp engines for a decent top speed of 31 knots, the Princess Y85 is classy in its own right with design collaborations between the in-house Princess Design Studio, Olesinksi Design and Pininfarina.

Tipping the balance on features usually found on larger yachts, owners and their guests can enjoy optimal privacy onboard with a versatile galley that can be either open or closed off from the main salon, complete with private access for crew around the yacht.

The striking model has a four-cabin layout that includes a full beam master, a VIP, twin and a double, all with private ensuite facilities.

Jeanneau DB37

Jeanneau continues to branch out its fleet as Boot Dusseldorf presents the debut of the second model from the developing Jeanneau DB (Day Boat) range.

Developed with long-standing Prestige/Jeanneau designer, Camillo Garoni, the DB 37 is the sister ship to the Jeanneau DB 43 and offers great flexibility in tailoring to the needs of every individual owner, including the options to integrate either sterndrive or outboard engines.

Comprising a two-cabin, one-bathroom layout as standard, with the option of adding a second day head, the DB 37 can transform into a floating beach club, with fold-down balconies as standard plus aft deck seating that can transform into sun pads.
