The DC25 has a fully electric-transmission and, thanks to its clever modular deck, it truly is a multi-purpose tender.
If you are looking at tenders for sale then DutchCraft, who are a subsidiary of Zeelander Yachts, have come up with a design that allows the deck to be quickly and easily transformed depending upon the task it is being used for.
Padded seating for 12 people can be quickly installed into the area behind the center console if you intend on using this as a traditional tender to transport guests to and from the shore. Or that area can easily be converted into a flat space for jet skis or even a custom dive rack for up to eight divers.
This electric tender is equally accommodating in other ways. It has a collapsible hard top above the center console. Fully upright the console measures 3.3m (11ft), but when the top is folded down the DC25’s height is 1.97m (6.5ft), meaning it can be stored in most superyacht tender garages.
Additionally the transom folds down to become a swimming platform and a hinged bow door means guests can easily hop from the tender onto the beach. With a draft of 0.82m (2.7ft) this can easily handle even the shallowest approach.
With a battery capacity of 134kWh and continuous power of 100kWh the boat can cruise at 32 knots for up to 75 minutes and cruise for up to six hours at six knots in complete silence.
The DutchCraft 25 measures 8.04m (26.4ft) with a 2.38m (7.8ft) beam. A limousine tender version is expected in the future. You can also view the entire range of tenders for sale.
