This debut marks a major leap for the Williams Marine Group, introducing a bold, design-forward approach to the luxury tender market—one traditionally dominated by custom-built specialists. Evene Tenders enters with a focus on sustainability, guest comfort, and intelligent usability, aiming to set a new benchmark for production-line excellence in the superyacht sector.
YachtBuyer Films Exclusive Pre-Launch Walkthrough of the Origin 57
As part of a special pre-launch collaboration, YachtBuyer was invited to film the first-ever full walkthrough of the Evene Origin 57, Evene’s entry-level model in the new range. Filmed at a dedicated film studio in London, the tender was displayed out of the water, providing a detailed look at its engineering—including the stepped Petestep® hull and jet drive propulsion system.
In the video, Oliver Browne, Head of Product Development at Evene, guides Jack Haines, YachtBuyer’s Reviews Director, through the features of the Origin 57. Every design choice is explained in context—from improved boarding access to internal ergonomics—highlighting a five-year development process aimed at producing the ultimate production-line superyacht tender.
Maximizing Space: The Benefits of a Hard-Sided Tender Design

A visual comparison between the Evene Origin 57 and the similarly sized Williams DieselJet 565 illustrates the advantages of the Origin’s hard-bodied hull design. By eliminating inflatable tubes, the Origin 57 offers significantly more interior space, enhancing guest comfort and improving safety and ease of boarding—particularly important for high-use tenders operating alongside superyachts.
Origin 57 and Origin 71: Elevating the Tender Experience
The Origin Series arrives with two models - the Evene Origin 57 and Evene Origin 71 - measuring 5.7 metres and 7.1 metres respectively. The Origin 57 is tailored for yachts over 30 metres, while the larger Origin 71 suits vessels over 40 metres. Both models have been created to deliver a high-end experience for owners and guests, carrying up to nine and eleven passengers respectively.
The Origin 57 measures 5.70m with a beam of 2.25m, seating up to seven people. It has a dry weight of 1,400kg, a 100-litre fuel tank, and can reach speeds of up to 36 knots powered by a 195hp Yanmar 4LV diesel engine.

This tender is a testament to what can be achieved when tradition and exceptional design meet forward-thinking practices, and we are excited to see it set a new standard for sustainability and performance in the industry.”

Evene Tenders
The larger Origin 71 measures 7.10m in length, has the same beam, and offers seating for up to eleven passengers. With a dry weight of 1,800kg and a 140-litre fuel tank, it is fitted with a 250hp Yanmar 4LV diesel engine, delivering a similar top speed of 36 knots.

At the core of both tenders is a Petestep® hull, a patented design that improves efficiency by minimising hydrodynamic resistance and harnessing spray energy. The result is a quieter, more stable ride with enhanced performance. The hulls are finished with Evene’s distinctive scallop detailing, nodding to the brand’s blend of contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship.
A Greener Approach to Superyacht Tenders
Sustainability is a key focus for Evene, with the Origin Series incorporating eco-conscious materials and technologies throughout. Cork decking, sourced from regenerative forests, can be customised in either a traditional plank design or a contour pattern inspired by British Ordnance Survey maps, a subtle reference to Evene’s Oxfordshire roots.

The tenders also feature removable eco-upholstery, crafted from Valencia Biosense and Vestige fabrics, designed to combine luxury with environmental responsibility. Power comes from YANMAR 4LV diesel engines, compatible with HVO 100 fuel, allowing for a reduction in net CO2 emissions of up to 97% compared to conventional diesel.
Premium Features and Customisation
Standard specification includes a Raymarine Axiom 12” multifunction display with depth sounder and chartplotter, Fusion audio system with six speakers, LED-illuminated footwells, and a custom Evene-styled steering wheel and boarding pole. Accessory mounts are also integrated into the design, capable of carrying gear such as mountain bikes.
Each Origin tender is built to order, offering a wide range of customization options, from yacht logos to bespoke finishes and colour schemes.
A New Chapter for the Hornsby Brothers
