ISA Yachts unveils Formula 1 inspired yacht range named after Ayrton Senna

The new Ayrton line takes its name from the Brazilian F1 legend and will consist of three models of 50m (164ft), 63m (206.5ft) and 70m (229.5ft).

ISA Yachts has unveiled a new Formula 1 inspired range of yachts, named after one of the greats of the motor racing world.

Its new Ayrton line consists of three models of 50m (164ft), 63m (206.5ft) and 70m (229.5ft) and features exterior and interior design by Enrico Gobbi - Team for Design and naval architecture from Palumbo Superyachts. The line itself is named after Brazilian racing driver and three-time Formula One World Drivers’ Championship winner Ayrton Senna.

The first model to be introduced is the Ayrton 63m (206.5ft). The 1.200 GRT yacht combines a sporty profile with a strong influence from the natural world shown by five transverse windows at bow that resemble fish gills.

One of the highlights of the new model is a new take on the traditional beach club. A window can be found in place of the traditional stern hatch, with the window incorporating a waterfall that flows into the outdoor pool, and provides a natural connection with the adjacent indoor jacuzzi. Two side openings transform the beach club into what ISA claims to be the largest on yachts of its size.

Elsewhere floor-to-ceiling windows create panoramic views across all decks, including a panoramic gym on the wellness devoted flydeck.

This natural connection is evident in the refined interiors which benefit large opening windows on each deck.

The ISA Ayrton 63m can accommodate 12 guests across six cabins, made up of four double cabins on the lower deck and a VIP cabin and full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck. Twin 1800hp Caterpillar 3512C engines give a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots with a range of over 5,000nm at 12 knots.

ISA Yachts is part of the Palumbo Superyachts brand and has a pedigree for building large superyachts, with an average length of 42m across the 40 yachts it has delivered since 2003.
