New Fairline Targa 45 OPEN dubbed a must see

Luxury UK-based shipyard Fairline Yachts has introduced the Targa 45 Open, its latest vessel to be developed with Alberto Mancini.

Following familiar trends of the new generation of yachts from the British fleet, the Targa 45 Open express cruiser forms part of the Targa range and has been dubbed a must-see at upcoming yachting events.

Powered by a pair of Volvo IPS600 D6-440 engines, the new model was originally named the Targa 43 Open, but was renamed to account for the generous proportions of the eyecatching model.

In addition to the option to upgrade the engines to Volvo’s new IPS650 D6-480 units, the vessel also offers improved access to the engine room and an admirable top speed of 31 knots.

When re-designing what was the Targa 43 OPEN, we felt the title of ‘43’ was selling ourselves short. A 45-foot yacht allows for a fantastic boating experience, which is exactly what the new Targa 45 OPEN provides. Plus, the re-designed engine room means access is now even easier and more convenient.

An open-plan layout spans the length of the main deck with a comfortable seating area, which can also be used as an internal dining option. A galley and top of the range cockpit fit out the remaining areas of the main deck and are abundantly lit by natural light thanks to the large stretch of windows.

A sunpad boasts great surrounding views from the foredeck over the tender storage and another relaxing al fresco set up can be found on the aft deck.

Overnight accommodation is located on the lower deck in a two-cabin layout. One full-beam master cabin is amidships and another guest cabin in the bow. Both cabins offer views around the vessel and each has its own private head.
