Fairline announce big-boat line-up for Dusseldorf

British shipyard Fairline has announced a double debut for the forthcoming 2023 Boot Dusseldorf event.

Showcasing the Phantom 65 and Squadron 68 for the first time at the German event, both yachts will be on display at the Fairline stand in Hall 6 at Messe Dusseldorf.

Making waves on the British yachting scene, Fairline announced a six-year plan in September 2022 to develop the brand further. We know of an impending launch of the new Fairline Targa 40 in 2023, and now we have the showcase of an updated model from the fleet.

It's fair to say the intended development plan appears to already be in motion.

Making another comeback, the Squadron 68 Mk3 is currently the biggest of the Fairline Squadron range and brings some subtle new changes to the interiors as well as a stylish new hard top.

Originally launched in 2007, the sleek model has a sharp exterior with modern, contemporary interiors and the flexibility to have either a three or four-cabin layout.

Designed for operation by experienced owners or a small crew, there's plenty to like about this model including an admirable flybridge and comfortable fore and aft lounge areas.

An award winner definitely worth seeing if you're attending Boot Dusseldorf in person, presented with Best Exterior Design at the 2022 World Yachts Trophies awards, the Fairline Phantom 65 is an exciting addition to the fleet.

Tested out in person by the YachtBuyer team, the 65 will hit top speeds of 37 knots and features a floorplan replicated from the flagship Squadron 68 and Targa 65.

As the first sportsbridge on offer from the British shipyard, the design team have excelled in optimizing usability factors, with the driving position being much more favourable than many other models of the same size. Teamed up with a wetbar and ample seating, this sportsbridge set up could take on flybridges of some larger models in the 50ft region.

Scheduled to run from 21-29 January 2023, boot Dusseldorf is the biggest indoor boat show in the world and alongside the models above, Fairline will also be showcasing the F//LINE 33, Targa 45 GT and Targa 50 OPEN.
