Numarine superyacht ADONIS breaks new ground as first yacht premiered at CES in Vegas

Numarine yachts achieved a world-first as the brand new motor yacht ADONIS became the first yacht to be premiered at the prestigious 2019 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

CES is the biggest technology show in the world and showcases more than 4,500 exhibitors including producers, manufacturers and suppliers from technological niches across the world but this is the first time a yacht has appeared at this annual trade show.

The show regularly attracts in excess of 180k attendees from over 150 countries to its 11 official venues spanning more than 2.9 million net square feet. However, collaborating partner Furrion is no new visitor to the technological scene with the groundbreaking yacht M/Y Adonis being its third concept. Following on from a futuristic motorhome complete with hot tub and helicopter, plus other highly advanced technologies, the outstanding Adonis promises to be a concept which will go down in history.

A highlight of the Furrion catalogue, ANGEL is capable of responding to every move of the yacht.  The system has many capabilities which ensure optimum convenience and pleasure for the guests on board.

Operated by voice command, guests can relay messages to the crew with ease by simply saying 'Hi ANGEL'. When the time for refreshments arrives the owner or their guests can relay a message to ANGEL who will then place a food order direct to the crew in the kitchen. In addition to service requests, guests can access specific songs and playlists which will play on command throughout the vessel. For guests wanting a workout instructor, ANGEL can also engage guests in guided yoga sessions.

Smart mirrors on board the Numarine 78 further enhance the ANGEL experience as guests can instantly view weather updates, social media feeds and much more. The incredible artificial intelligence of ANGEL can impress even more with it's detailed knowledge of destinations. On arrival at ports, ANGEL can provide information on local points of interest and important sites. Reservations to the best restaurants can also be arranged with ease before arrival.

Indeed, ANGEL is a remarkable installation for guest comfort, but it also has an invaluable credit to the crew. The artificial intelligence of ANGEL can raise alerts for any engineering requirements by closely monitoring all of the yacht's systems and functions.

Security has a premium importance with the ANGEL system with crew being recognised by a highly advanced facial recognition system. Using this facility, crew can deploy a security drone to circle the vessel by voice command and also take impressive photographs of the surrounding area.

Throughout the journey ANGEL also assists crew by completing small tasks like switchingon lights, closing blinds and adjusting air conditioning levels. Repetitive behaviours such as raising blinds prior to boarding can be recognised by the ANGEL system and then implemented at later occasions without command.
