Italian yard Ocean King has revealed its largest yacht yet is currently in build at its Chioggia shipyard.
The 41.8m (137ft) Doge 400 GT will usurp its 40.3m Ocean King 130 as the yard’s flagship yacht when she is delivered to her Owner in the summer of 2022.
Accommodating up to ten guests across five staterooms, the 400GT explorer yacht will be noticeable by her grey hull and vast glass sections. She is being built for an experienced Owner who has spent much time living on a yacht with their family.
Standout features across her three decks include a large beach club, a skylounge that opens up to 270°, a spacious main salon and a tender garage that will store a 6.25m (20.5ft) Diesel Jet tender.
Being built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the Doge 400 GT will sport twin 1450-HP MAN V12 engines and a cruising range of 5,000nm at 10 knots.
Oceanking specializes in building explorer yachts and its Doge line has three additional models, the 350, 400 and 450, ranging in size from 35m (114ft) to 45m (147ft). According to YachtBuyer intelligence, it has three more yachts all in build and due to be delivered by the end of next year.
