With a focus on returning motor cruising to the easy sea-going lifestyle of sailing yachts, the OT-60's Eco-Cruise hull and design provide quiet and efficient cruising. It offers a surprising range of 1,000 nautical miles at 8 knots, consuming just 1.25 liters per mile.
Designed by naval architect Juan Kouyoumdjian, the custom hull is optimized for serene cruising, offering a silent, stable, and extremely efficient ride. With a comfortable cruising speed of 12 knots and low fuel consumption, the OT-60 secured first place in the recent European awards and will be presented for sale at the Cannes boat show.
The Omikron OT-60 competed against the Greenline 58 Fly, Mylius 62, Vanton QS 45 CC, and Steeler 50 TA in the "Long Range" category of the European Powerboat Awards, where judges prioritize onboard comfort, efficient drive systems, and overall safety and stability. Omikron received the award at the 2024 Boot Düsseldorf show in February.
The interior and exterior styling of the OT-60 is by Lorenzo Argento, with additional styling by Ciarmoli Queda Studio. The design features expansive windows, providing nearly a full panoramic view. This allows natural light to flood the interior, eliminating the need for reflective materials to enhance brightness.
The influence of sailing yachts is evident in this comfortable motor yacht, which might entice some buyers to transition from sail to power. Italian designer Lorenzo Argento, renowned for his sailing yacht designs, brings this influence to the forefront in the 2024 OT-60. This venture into motor yacht design began a decade ago with the yacht LOGICA (now FOREVER) by Logica Yachts. LOGICA was presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2014, and now, a decade later, an Argento-designed yacht will again be showcased at Cannes.
The chance to present the OT-60 at the Cannes Yachting Festival, a venue that embodies the pinnacle of yachting sophistication and innovation, is deeply exciting. Our presence at Cannes represents a significant step forward for Omikron Yachts, reflecting our dedication to excellence and our vision for the future of yachting.”

Descending to the 'lower deck', the open design of the annex enjoys double deck height, spacious enough to accommodate a dining area and galley that benefits from natural light from above. This design makes the yacht feel incredibly airy below deck.
We will take the opportunity to showcase the OT-60’s unique philosophy of sustainable, easygoing cruising for a discerning international audience."

Omikron offers two lower deck configurations, allowing buyers to choose between three or four cabins, each with a private ensuite.
Omikron Yachts has established a dedicated production line for the OT-60, featuring hull construction with vacuum infusion and a carbon fiber superstructure. This approach reduces the composite weight by up to a third in the upper parts of the vessel, enhancing stability.
The 18.41m OT-60 is CE-certified as a Category A-12 vessel and boasts a top speed of up to 16 knots. Depending on the yacht buyer's chosen configuration, the yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests.
The Omikron OT-60 is for sale at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024.
