Turkish shipyard Sirena Yachts has unveiled the latest addition to its fleet, the 21.4m (70ft) Sirena 68.
Set to debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, the three-cabin 68 follows in the footsteps of other Sirena yachts by incorporating a modern, highly-practical trawler yacht design with a versatile German Frers-designed semi-displacement hull. Performance figures look impressive with a 1200nm range at 10 knots and top speeds of up to 28 knots, depending on the exact engine specification.
The new yacht has come about in response to by Sirena to its customers’ requests, as Chief Commercial Officer Ali Onger explains: “The Sirena 68 brings together all the qualities that experienced cruisers would seek in a new yacht—essentially an upgrade in comfort and confidence in all areas.”
“The vibe of the Sirena 68 starts with the details. When each person steps aboard, their eyes come to rest on a facet or a fabric, an accent or an angle, some hint that lets them know they’re welcome in a way that is somehow simultaneously familiar and new”.
Inside the saloon plays host to a large U-shaped settee and dining area, with an open-concept galley adjacent and large panes of glass offering fantastic views.
On the lower deck light plays an important role again, with the full-beam amidship master suite benefiting from large hillside windows that admit plenty of natural light.
The Sirena 68 can be tailored to suit the owner with numerous accommodation layouts available and a wide range of customization options in terms of color palettes.
Despite only being founded five years ago Sirena Yachts has already enjoyed a good degree of success. At the end of last year it announced the sale of its sixth flagship Sirena 88 hull which took the yard to sixty sales overall in the past three years.
