Sunseeker has unveiled the latest visuals of its groundbreaking Ocean 156. Aiming to redefine the norms of yacht design, the builder's latest offering promises an expansive feeling of space and flexible design options.
With its name denoting the yacht's gross tonnage, the Ocean series represents a departure from traditional design. More importantly, however, the Ocean 156 is a testament to Sunseeker's commitment to delivering a significant increase in interior volume within a 24m (80ft) yacht compared to conventional layouts.
The exterior design boasts two upper deck areas fore and aft of the pilothouse, offering versatile configurations. The foredeck features flush flooring, convertible seating, and a wet bar, while the signature Beach Club at the stern showcases Sunseeker's award-winning X-TEND seating.
An array of design layouts enable owners to personalize their style and meet practical needs. The emphasis on minimal intrusions, such as fixed furniture and single-level flooring across all decks, facilitates customization.
Entering the main deck saloon, a 360˚ panoramic vista unfolds, courtesy of full-height glazing and an open-plan layout that captivates. With a luxurious penthouse apartment feel, uninterrupted views from bow to stern, and multiple arrangement possibilities, including an open galley and dining aft with a forward bar area.
A large L-shaped saloon sofa and TV can be positioned aft or forward, depending on the chosen arrangement. Sliding doors on the port and starboard connect the outside with the stunning interior, while an impressive glazed, floating staircase sits centrally, subtly complementing the room.
The Ocean 156 offers an owner's stateroom option on the main deck, providing impressive views and direct foredeck access via a wide sliding door. Configured with a king-size bed athwartship and an ensuite to starboard, the ample wardrobe and dressing area are found to port, creating a breathtaking space with an uninterrupted vista upon entry.
On the lower deck, the alternative full-beam owner's stateroom features further storage, a vanity desk, and a connecting ensuite with twin basins.
Forward, the lower accommodation includes a forward VIP and two guest cabins, with an option for the port cabin to be configured as a twin with sliding berths. This layout accommodates up to 10 persons in complete luxury. The lower deck's completely level floor between all cabins, a rarity on a yacht of this size, subtly enhances the onboard experience.
A comprehensive range of fabrics and finishes are available exclusively for the Ocean 156, including curated light and dark contrasting schemes, subject to client preference. Interior designs, conceptualized in collaboration with Design Unlimited, bring a modern, cohesive palette to all spaces.
Crew accommodation for three is specified forward of the engine room, featuring a built-in appliance block and worktop space for self-sufficiency.
